A box of vintage circus cut-out models. The box includes seven stand up toys made of card. They are presented on three cards. The front of the box states 'The Burleigh series' ' Cut-Out Models Reversible Fun for GIRLS and BOYS' ' Made In England' ' COPYRIGHT' The illustrators signature reads ' Ern Shaw' The side of the box states ' BURLEIGH ARTWARE SUPPLIES 13 BURLEIGH STREET HULL . ENGLAND' The box measures approximately 21.3 cm wide by 16 cm high. The box is approximately 1.8 cm deep. Each card measures approximately 19.8 cm wide by 14.7 cm high. The box has a few scuffs, and there is some damage to the box at the bottom on the right. Please refer to the photographs. There are some age related brown marks on the cards. Despite these flaws mentioned for accuracy they would be lovely to decorate a child's bedroom or appreciated by a vintage toy collector.
